As an artist who loves light and the colors in everyday life, I tend to avoid painting in my studio. Especially in this early stage of my life. I like to paint outside in the elements to learn and acquire knowledge on the fundamentals. I can almost always find a way to sketch or paint no matter how grueling the environment is. These harsh conditions of nature shape and influence each and every piece. The techniques that need to be used in different situations are what make my paintings special to me. Each piece brings me back to the exact moment in time that it was created. I remember the place, my emotions, and the issues that arose that I had to deal with. These studies are the most meaningful and personal artifacts of my life.
